As golf continues to flourish in Ho Chi Minh City and attract an increasingly international community of players, the International Golf Connect Series 2026 was created as a tournament series dedicated to bringing together golf clubs from Vietnam and around the world. Rather than focusing on large-scale participation, the series emphasizes exceptional experiences, meaningful connections, and a shared passion for the game.
Hosted by Tan Son Nhat Golf Course, the tournament features 16 competing teams, including 8 Vietnamese golf clubs and 8 international golf clubs. The diversity of playing styles and competitive experience promises exciting matchups and memorable moments throughout the series. Every match is more than a test of skill—it is an opportunity for golfers to meet, exchange ideas, and build lasting relationships in an open and welcoming atmosphere.
The tournament runs from April through August 2026, featuring an opening match, a series of competitive rounds, and the Grand Final. This season-long format creates continuity while allowing teams to refine their strategies, maintain competitive form, and build momentum throughout the championship. It also helps sustain excitement and engagement from start to finish.
Professional tournament standards are at the heart of the competition. The use of an internationally recognized handicap system, bilingual scorecards, and transparent competition rules ensures that golfers from different countries can participate with confidence and ease. This consistent approach creates a fair, professional, and enjoyable playing environment for every competitor.
Beyond the competition itself, the International Golf Connect Series provides valuable opportunities for golfers and clubs to connect off the course. Conversations, handshakes, the exchange of ideas, and shared experiences become just as meaningful as the matches themselves. These moments are what transform the tournament into a platform for building long-term friendships and professional relationships within the golfing community.
The series begins with the Golf Coach Cup opening match on April 8, 2026, followed by the official press conference on April 18, 2026. Together, these milestones mark the beginning of a months-long journey where every round offers more than competition—it creates opportunities to connect, collaborate, and create unforgettable experiences.
With its people-first philosophy and focus on meaningful experiences, the International Golf Connect Series 2026 delivers a tournament that may be selective in scale, yet exceptional in the value it creates. Here, every swing is about more than the scorecard—it is the beginning of lasting relationships within the global golfing community.
